• You don’t need a clear diagnosis or a specific reason to come to therapy. Many people seek support because something doesn’t feel right - emotionally, relationally, or internally. If you’re noticing patterns you’d like to understand, distress that feels hard to manage alone, or a desire for deeper change, therapy may be helpful.

  • I work primarily with adults experiencing the effects of trauma and attachment-related difficulties.

This can include anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, shame, long-standing patterns, or the impact of early or relational trauma.

If you’re unsure whether your experiences ‘count’, that uncertainty itself is often part of the work.

  • Trauma-informed therapy recognises how past experiences can shape the nervous system, emotional responses, and relationships. The focus is on safety, choice, and collaboration.

We work at a pace that feels manageable, without pushing you to revisit experiences before you’re ready.

  • I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR (if appropriate), attachment-focused and relational work. The approach is tailored to you - your goals, history, and readiness - rather than applying a single model rigidly.

  • An initial conversation is an opportunity to explore what’s bringing you to therapy, ask questions, and see whether my approach feels like a good fit. There’s no obligation to continue. It’s as much about your sense of comfort as it is about practical information.

  • Each session will last an hour. For EMDR, session are slightly longer . Some people come for focused, time-limited work; others benefit from longer-term support, particularly when working with complex or relational trauma. This is something we review together over time.

  • Session are £160 an hour. EDMR are longer and are priced at £200.

  • Yes. Therapy is confidential, with a few legal and ethical exceptions related to safety and risk. Limits to confidentiality can be discussed clearly at the outset so you know what to expect, if you choose to work with me.

  • Yes, I offer online, telephone and in-person sessions. Online therapy can be effective and accessible for many people, and we can discuss whether it feels suitable for you.

  • That’s completely okay. Finding the right therapist matters. If my approach doesn’t feel right for you, I’ll support you in thinking about alternative options or referrals where possible.

  • Change is rarely linear. There may be times when increased awareness brings discomfort. This doesn’t mean therapy isn’t working - it often means something important is being approached with care. We monitor this closely and adjust pace as needed.

  • You can get in touch via the enquiry form or you can book a call. I aim to respond within 3 working days. Please note that I’m not able to provide crisis support via email or the website.
